Sustainability and cooperation

In everything Koopman does, the impact on people and the environment is taken into account. Every day is dedicated to making progress in Corporate Social Responsibility. Whether it's about low-CO2 fuel, sustainable employability of employees, heating the buildings with residual heat or supporting a good cause. "We feel responsible for this: as a family business and employer, but also as a business partner and innovator in the market. We are transparent about this to our stakeholders." Together with a number of important stakeholders, they are part of the same chain: working together to implement and safeguard CSR policy is an obvious course of action. Holding each other accountable for the joint impact on People, Planet and Profit through the Koopman CSR cycle: continuously improving through repeated efforts and results.


Sustainability report 2019-2020

Since 2015, every two years the company accounts for its journey towards sustainability and makes a promise to continue making (kilo)metres in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Sustainable ambitions

Koopman's third sustainability report provides a firm foundation for the family business's sustainable duties and ambitions. "Corporate Social Responsibility is never finished and ready, so we continue". Also in 2021 and 2022 steps will be taken towards a sustainable organisation, with a healthy balance between people, environment and healthy finances.
